Singing Beetle Responsible AI Policy

At Singing Beetle, our mission is to preserve maximal human touch in everything we do.  We commit to using technology strictly to amplify, rather than replace, the unique human qualities of creativity and vulnerability that our artists possess.

 

1. Use of AI for human touch

• All music, lyrics, choreography, and creative storytelling originate from human intention and oversight. While we may use AI to support the technical or visual aspects of production (e.g., visual effects, reference generation, audio mixing), we commit to:

  • Never releasing fully AI-generated vocals or idols

  • Ensuring that every official track and concept is driven by human artists

  • Centering the voices, stories, and identities of our members

 

2. Full Transparency & Minimal use of Generative AI

• We commit to transparency when Generative AI is used to create any major element of our artistic output that fully replaces the work of a human artist or art worker

• While AI-assisted features are common across creative software (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere, DAWs), we differentiate between assistive and generative use. We will report AI use when:

  • A final image, visual effect, voice, lyric, or scene is substantially generated by AI

  • The result replaces the original creative labor of a human artist or contributor

  • This helps us remain honest with our fans, without penalizing artists for using everyday tools that have embedded AI elements

• Following our commitment to transparency, we will still minimize the use of Generative AI wherever possible

 

3. AI not to replace artists

• Our artists undergo years of rigorous training and emotional growth. We will never use AI to automate or mimic our members in:

  • Fan calls, livestreams, voice messages, or social interactions

  • Vocal doubles or ghostwriting without full disclosure and consent

  • Performances intended to duplicate an artist’s presence without active involvement, agreement, and disclosure

• Creative authorship and personal emotional expression will always be human-led.

 

4. Ethical AI Use & Protection of Artist Identity

• We actively safeguard our artists’ identities and creative work by:

  • Adopting internal practices that prevent feeding artist identity data to AI models

  • Prohibiting the use of any artist-related output (e.g., vocals, facial footage, interviews, social media interactions) to train or fine-tune AI models without explicit written consent

  • Enforcing zero-tolerance policies to combat external misuse, including deepfakes, false performances, or AI-generated impersonations
